I modelled, textured, and staged realistic 3D food items for a 3D asset trading store.
The models were first created in 3DSMax. Then unwrapped and textured in Substance Painter.
The models were then re-imported into 3DSMax to complete lighting and staging. These were then exported in formats to facilitate rendering by another team member.
This project was a very fun one for me because as a food lover, I never really got to observe food textures prior to this. It was really eye-opening and challenging as I had to find different new ways to model organic shapes and textures. I got to see how lighting affects how we perceive textures, and also discovered the max zoom setting on my phone camera. Lol.
